Ardent lift
7 min shuttle
One of the better connected lifts in the whole area and the quickest way to Avoriaz in Morzine. There is a gondola up to an area called Lindarets. From here
you’ll find the nearest ESF school, five mountain restaurants and five lifts to connect you on:
2 of these go to Avoriaz centre (short high speed lift)
1 lift takes you an area called Mosets, from here Les Croset (Switzerland) is only 1 more lift away (and access to Champery, Champoussin, Morgins, Torgon, Chatel)
1 lift goes to straight into the Chalet ski area (and beyond access to Super Chatel, Torgon, La Chapelle d’Abondance and Abondance)
Last button lift is for the green slope.
To get back to Ardent from this area there is a great blue run that can take you via the famous Goat Village (du Village du Chèvre). In summer this village is packed full of goats! In winter it has some great restaurants and bars slope side and is a wonderful traditional mountain village. This blue run then will take you all the way down to the car park where we’ll be waiting to take you to the chalet.
Super Morzine lift
7 min shuttle.jpg)
The nearest of the lifts to the chalets, connects central Morzine to Avoriaz. This takes 3 separate lifts to get to Avoriaz and can get busy in the mornings but it's great to come down in the evening for a little après ski in town before we pick you up to take you to the chalets for dinner. From here you can also get the Petit Train to Pleney (below) for access to Les Gets and Morzine should you want to go between the areas during the day.
Pleney lift
7 min shuttle
Access to Les Gets and the Morzine ski area. Great for wide rolling pistes and great tree lined scenery. Petit Train connection to Super Morzine and another fun place to stop for a little après ski.
Restaurants, Shops & Bars
4 min walk
Only a few minutes walk from the chalets you’ll find the centre of Montriond. The bar, La Barque, is ocean themed and has local area renowned live music on Tuesdays. This is a great, traditional Bar-Tabac with an ocean edge. Just next-door are local supermarkets, ski shops, Doctors, Physiotherapy (just in case) and a great Savoyard restaurant called Le Rocher. They specialise in local cuisine but also have a number of pasta, pizza and other non Savoyard dishes. This is helpful for those who do not want to venture into the hustle and bustle of the centre of town on staff day off.
