Fantasticable
In the Chatel region of the Portes du Soleil you can find the “Fantasticable”, a souped-up, king size death slide. Secured in a harness to a cable across the valley above the Dranse river, you travel 1.3km at up to 240m above the ground at a top speed of 120kmph. A truly exhilarating and unforgettable experience!
Golf
Avoriaz has a 9-hole course set around the town at 1800m. It's a par 36 with a length of 2930m. Neighbouring Les Gets has an 18-hole course. The course at Evian (30 mins drive from The Edge) is one of the most famous courses in France and hosts the Evian Masters competition every July.
