The Company

The Edge is a family business, owned and run. We have two properties, Chalet Beatrice and Chalet de l'Ange. They are both within a few hundred metres of each other. We designed and built the chalet the first chalet, Beatrice, from the ground up in 2008, and with three seasons under our belt now we’re really excited about taking on a new property, Chalet de l'Ange.

The People

Chris and Lisa manage the business, enquiries and bookings so its them that you'll talk to prior to your stay. They also work in Chalet Beatrice as chalet hosts. Chris is enjoying his 31st year on skis and over 20 years snowboarding. He is also a BASI level 1 qualified snowboard instructor. He will be on hand the whole time for any queries you may have, either about the ski area, equipment, conditions or anything else! Lisa is in her second season in Morzine, learning to ski last year and now a true convert. Joining us from a background in events and project management.

Lindsay and Sarah (sisters and Lindsay is Chris's mother) are chalet hosts in Chalet de l'Ange. On hand to help with anything you might need during your stay. Lindsay has lived in France for 20 years and moved to Morzine 4 years ago when we built the chalet. She's a keen skiier and has previously lived in a swiss resort. Sarah joins us for her first ever season, usually spending her time in Sardinia she's learning to ski and wear thermals!

James the chef also joins us for his first winter season. He's going to learn to snowboard, he's convinced he'll be the next Shaun White so if you're visiting us towards the end of the season let's see how that works out. James joins us with 15 years experience of cheffing all over the world, hence our round the world inspired menu.
