The Company

The Edge has been a long time coming, from the initial idea to getting financing, finding an architect and finally a suitable piece of land took almost four years. It was all worthwhile though - the 08/09 season was amazing! So now we've made it through our first ski season and now our first summer too, so ready and raring to go for the 09/10 season! We're hoping to see a lot of familiar faces back with us in the chalet again this winter.

 

The People

The Edge is a family company owned and run by Lindsay Kinsella McCormack and Chris McCormack (mother & son). For the coming 09/10 season, we have two new members of staff, Krissy & Rob, helping out around the chalet, driving you up to the slopes and generally making sure you have an amazing holiday with us at The Edge!

Lindsay was managing property in France for over ten years. She is a keen cook and has regularly catered for large groups at local events during the time that she was living in the Dordogne. From the 08/09 season feedback, the food was one of the highlights for our guests! This year’s menu has some new dishes alongside last year’s favourites!

Chris lived in a variety of exotic places in his youth including Morocco, Saudi Arabia, France, Scotland, Cambridge, London and most importantly the Swiss alps. He has been skiing for 28 years, and snowboarding for close to 20 years. He is a qualified BASI Assistant Instructor (BASI level 1) in snowboarding.
